At 1 pm today, with the temperature of 62F., topping out at 70F. at 3 PM, I observed a male monarch butterfly in the waste field near the State Park. It flew very low over the ground heading south. This is the 3rd monarch for October in NE Michigan. My observation time: I was watching for __0_ hours and __1_ minutes.
