I have 5 Ruby Throat Hummingbirds. They all try to feed around the same time daily. I have been able to view one of them developing the male coloring on his neck. It is not all the way around yet but the dark ruby coloring is evident. I have increased the amount of sucrose in my feeders due to the temperatures lowering. All the hummingbirds I have seem to be young. Interesting note: Butterflies will sip from my hummingbird feeders.
