we were stopped at a little apple stand near Hendersonville, NC, at about 9:30 AM when we saw a monarch butterfly pass. we believe it was looking for milkweed and was not finding it, but it just circled around a few times so we don't know if it was male or female. My observation time:9:30 I was watching for __0_ hours and __5_ minutes.
