Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 10/07/2010

Number: 1

It had rained almost constantly for the last 3 days here in N.E. PA.It was also bone chilling COLD, so I refused to release my Monarch's until this morning when it became nice. The Sun finally showed it's presence, along with warmer temps.( in the high 60's) About 10:30 A.M. we took the cage outdoors and placed the Butterflies on our Budelia flowers (the few we have left )but just prior to that we saw one lone Monarch flying around the yard.It was very windy, and that concerned me, but I know they know what to do, and they gotta get going. Sometime around 1:00P.M. they were all gone. Kinda sad, HOPE they have a safe journey! My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and _10__ minutes.
