I saw one monarch feasting on the goldenrod in a meadow along the power lines in back of my house. It was very windy and had a difficult time when it flew from one plant to another. I was suprised to see a monarch butterfly after the storms this week with the cool weather, high winds and lots of rain. A red admiral butterfly seemed to be following the same path. My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and _30_ minutes.
