Today the third grade class at St. Justin Martyr in St. Louis, MO released 3 monarch butterflies. 2 were males and have the tag numbers 864 and 854. The last butterfly we tagged was a female with the number 869. It was a sunny, hot day about 85 degrees. We were trying to catch butterflies and we saw one (
not tagged) go over our soccer field.
