This morning at Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge, about 12 miles east of Marble Falls, TX, we caught about 12 Monarchs for children to see and learn about; and later they were tagged and released. Several more were sighted that outsmarted the netters.
It was cool in the morning so they had not yet warmed up enough to head south. My observation time: I was watching for _4__ hours and ___ minutes.
