It was a beautiful fall day, in the low 80's here in southwest Missouri, no wind. We were riding on a John Deere Gator in the river bottom in the mid to late afternoon and spotted 3 monarchs feeding on ironweed and other wildflowers native to the area. They seemed in no particular hurry to move on. My observation time: I was watching for _3__ hours and ___ minutes.
