Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/09/2010

Number: 1

I still have two hummers. I swear one is the son (even though it looks like a female) of our dominant male I called Napolean. This one has grown to take the same perches as the former. I find that pretty funny in light of the nurture/nature debate. The other I do think is a female, and the offspring of a lanky female we had all summer. I was away for three days and left food, they have been here the whole time. I would like to know what temp is too cold for them, and at what temps should you take the feeder inside for the night? It has been pretty warm here in the day and I think the nites. Under 50 not expected until Thursday and I live on the water. Recommendations?
