I am on vacation in Sandestin, FL (Gulf Coast). The Monarchs are everywhere - they are BIG and BEAUITFUL. They are actually flying along the beach - so wonderful. Here in Sandestin we were on the 9th floor of a condo, and the Monarchs would glide by so beautifully. I've seen dozens of Monarchs, no queens. Maybe 3 or 4 gulf fritillaries. I saw several monarchs at my home in middle Georgia 2 weeks ago. I have a book from when I was a little girl (a long time ago) called "The Travels of Monarch X" that I'm going to read again when I get home. I was so amazed by these gorgeous butterflies and wanted to share. My observation time: I was watching for _6__ hours and ___ minutes.
