Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 10/09/2010

Number: 1

We released our last reared monarch - We had four monarchs emerge September 30th and released Oct.2nd - one pupae remained, I began to believe it was infected by parasite. Welcome to our world on Oct.6th she emerged healthy. She was released on the 8th.
She took off to the north then turned quickly to the west/so.west and settled in a tree. The next day (10/09) we observed three monarchs fluttering around enjoying the gorgeous weather of Wisconsin.
We are glad to see she wasn't the only late bloomer! My observation time: I was watching for _0__ hours and 30___ minutes.
