Most I've ever seen ever! My observation time: I was watching for 1_ hour and 0___ minutes.
And counted at least 50...hovering above the dunes of the Gulf of Mexico very close to Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach, FL.

(I do know the difference between Gulf Frits, Queens and monarchs. Here at Alys Beach where I work they (Gulf Frits, Queens)flock here due to all the wild flowers around the development.
I did not count these but we had a large number visit us here. I'd say more Gulf Frits than queens.)
