It was a beautiful, very warm, sunny, Fall day in Michigan. I planted the 50 red emperor tulip bulbs on the West side of the house next to the deck. I had my two lab dogs, Raphael and Gabriella with me. Raphie was under the blue spruce tree and Gabbie was next to the tree. They were both taking a nice long nap in the shade of the tree.
