Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/10/2010

Number: 1

I still have five hummingbirds. Only 2 hummingbirds are exhibiting the male ruby throat feathers. On one it is only the right side that has the red feathers at this point. Dawn and dusk I watch as they fluff themselves up. They use the down feathers which are located under their bright coats, to hold in their body heat.
