Just came back in from assisting a high school group from All Saints with some tagging on the west side of Fort Worth, TX (HWY I-30 and HWY 820). The group tagged 6 in a hour, but flushed out about 2 dozen that were resting in the shade of the hackberries along a small creek bottom.
Goldenrod, sunflower, liatris are at peak in this area. We didn't see any directional movement, they are holding tight to the shade and cover.
Temps are hovering in the mid 80's and wind is out of the sw at about 15 mph.
