WIND TURBINES A DANGER TO MONARCHS
Driving east on Interstate 20 which was lined with wind turbines. Monarchs crossing highway from north to south I am concerned about turbines interfering with migration route, difficulty of traversing thru wind currents and blades of turbines. The monarchs weren't in groups were scattered could that be a result of having to navigate thru the turbine ridge. How indepth are studies as to where to place turbines and the density of placement.
Could see where this could affect hummingbird migration as well.
