We planted common milkweed and swamp milkweed for the female Monarchs to lay their eggs on. We also planted a butterfly garden with nectar plants for the adult Monarchs to feed on. Through Monarch Watch we tagged and released 195 Monarchs before they left for their fall migration. We are at latitude 40.328956 and longitude -79.0 in southwestern Pennsylvania. We raised over 325 Monarchs primarily from larva during the summer and fall.
