While on Bald Head Island between the dates of Oct. 1 - Oct. 3 I counted 6-8 monarchs a day going down the coast along the beach. The butterflies were so bright and clean, I felt like they were recently hatched.

I was a casual watcher those days and just counted around the island where I was. My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and ___ minutes.
