On October 11, fourth grade students at Saint George Episcopal School in San Antonio, Texas reported seeing an estimated total of 47 monarchs in the San Antonio area. Students saw them in gardens, in a field, in a Target parking lot, and the teacher saw one while riding her horse in a wooded area alongside a creek. One even landed in someone's hair. All are looking forward to continuing the monarch count. My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and ___ minutes.
