Fifty-five second graders, with the help from some wonderful parent and grandparent volunteers, all planted their Red Emperor bulbs on a beautiful, sunny, fall morning. The soil was especially hard this year, due to the lack of rain. We are still working on bloom and emerge predictions as well as a few "what if" experiments.
