In our school's outdoor classroom we have several butterfly habitats. The plants are in full bloom and we have had an increase in monarch activity over the last several days. The students have been studying the monarch migration and recording numbers of butterflies seen each class period.

This sighting is one class period 11:15 to 12:05. We counted 11 monarchs in that time. My observation time: I was watching for __ hours and _50__ minutes.
