Our Track 3 second grade class is doing a week long study about Monarch butterflies. Today we were in the computer lab visiting the Journey North website. Much to our surprise, as we were watching the slideshow about how to identify a Monarch, one of the students glanced out the window. There on the butterfly bush was a beautiful Monarch butterfly.Soon the butterfly was joined by another, stopping for lunch on their way to Mexico. We can't wait to share what we saw with our families! My observation time: I was watching for 0 hours and 1 minutes.
