I have "migrated" twice to the sanctuaries in Mexico to see the wonders of the Monarchs. I was able to visit schools who participated in the Symbolic Monarch Migration. Estella Romero from Journey North was our host and guide in the schools and translated the children's stories to us and our gratitude to them for their participation in this program. I participate in this Symbolic Migration with my students to give them the sense that they are part of this magnificent Monarch migration. I wish I could go back to Mexico and bring all 23 of my students with me to experience this most fascinating event!
