Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 10/16/2010

Number: 1

TODAY WAS VERY SPECIAL AT OUR NESCOPECK HOME. THE VERY LAST MONARCH EMERGED FROM IT'S CHRYSLIS AT 11:45 A.M. "SHE" IS SMALL IN SIZE, BUT VERY ENERGETIC AND HEALTHY. I STILL HAVE 2 MALES I HAVE HAD TO KEEP INDOORS DUE TO HORRIBLE WEATHER CONDITIONS HERE. ONE OF THEM EMERGED 3 DAYS AGO ( THURSDAY 10/14) THE OTHER 2 DAYS AGO ( fRIDAY 10/15). BOTH OF THEM ARE MALES, AND ALSO ENERGETIC AND HEALTHY.aLL 3 ARE DRINKING WATERMELLON JUICE ,GATORADE, AND SUGAR WATER. IT WAS VERY WINDY TODAY WHICH KEPT ME FROM RELEASING THEM, TEMPERATURES WERE NOT BAD THOUGH. HOWEVER MY HUSBAND SAW ONE FLYING ( OR BEING BLOWN BY THE WIND ) IN OUR BACK YARD. THE WIND WAS BLOWING TOWARDS THE SOUTH, SO I HOPE IT WAS BENEFICIAL TO THAT ONE IN MAKING SOME GOOD DISTANCE TO A WARMER WEATHER DESTINATION.
