This morning (10/17) we counted about 25 Monarchs between 9:30-10:00AM. They came out of the live oaks around our backyard and headed south. Our huge butterfly weeds didn't even slow them down. They stopped at nearby trees to warm up and then took off again flying south. We saw a few more off and on through the day. My observation time: I was watching for 30 minutes.
