Since early June of 2010, I have been working on a Habitat project near my home. I am building this project close-by so that it will be easy for me to monitor more closely. Over the summer I have added about a couple of dozen different plants including flowers, shrubs, and trees. I done this to attract different species. Along with the plants, I have also added a bird bath, nectar feeders, and a couple of other bird feeders. So far, so good. Since starting this project, I have attracted Hummingbirds not to mention that I have noticed more grasshoppers, Bumble Bees, and my latest: the Monarch.
