Things in the Coastal migration really calmed down today after yesterday's SE wind up to 20 mph. There were far fewer migrating monarchs between 9:30 and noon today ...
and going down ... did get a count of 41 in one 15 minute period from 9:50 to 10:05 and best 5 min count of 16 from
9:55 to 10:00 this morning but usually 5 minute counts of were 2 to 3 a minute and sometimes a lull of a minute or two as it was getting close to noon.
