Female ruby throated hummer sighted feeding at our home this
afternoon at 1530 hours CST. Was very surprised and happy to see the bird at this late date. We had one other late sighting approximately four years ago. That bird was appearently having
problems with a swollen tongue. Today's bird appeared healthy.
Bob Sargent was notified and banded and released the other bird. Regards, Jewell "Marie" Perkins
