While we planted our tulips, it was very windy and cool. The soil temperature was 56 degrees F. The soil was damp and made digging more difficult. We planted 9 bulbs in our top corner garden. Another 10 bulbs were planted in a garden on the north west side of the property. The squirrels came to investigate our bulbs after they were planted.
