After 4 days of rain the caterpillars exploded. I counted 15 Thursday the 21st and 30 Friday the 22nd. The numbers are down as last year at this time we were having between 40-78 caterpillars every two days. We still have butterflies but not as many as we still are quite wet. I have brought them home to tag as many as we can. My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and ___ minutes.
