I am so glad the Mexican Sunflowers (Tithonia) reseeded to provide a respectable nectar source late in the season. Easy for a Monarch to spot with its bright orange daisy-bloom! One, very-late season Monarch took advantage of the bounty, spending at least an hour savoring every bloom. I hope it was enough to get a good distance south since temperatures in the low 30's are expected tomorrow night. My observation time: I was watching for _2__ hours and ___ minutes.
