Today we planted our red emperor tulip bulbs. The air temperature was 51.9 degrees. The soil temperature was 47 degrees in one spot and 51 degrees. The wind was out of the west-southwest. The wind speed was 2-7 mph. The wind chill was 29 degrees. During our planting an American Bald Eagle landed on our soccer field. The eagle was eating it's prey and 2 crows were trying to scavenge food from it.
