About 50 monarchs observed in flight and nectaring on mealy blue sage at New York Avenue Blackland Prairie Preserve in Arlington, TX. Observed 10 am to noon prior to beginning of rain at noon. No visible damage to wings. Location is a small 8 acre remnant unplowed piece of blackland prairie.

Observer was Wes Miller who had begun to despair of seeing any monarchs this fall. Info reported by Julia Burgen My observation time: I was watching for _2__ hours and 0___ minutes.
