Over the week I collected 31 monarch caterpillars off milkweed plants in my gardens. They were within 2 days of forming chrysalis. So put them and some plants in the butterfly cage.
They all are now in the chrysalis phase.

Also observed 4 monarchs the past two days. At one point, two were flying together (attached) SO I believe they were mating?
