Linda and I drove the length of Padre Is Natl Seashore on Saturday . The winds were light and the temps were cool , but the water was still dirty from the recent norther. We saw numerous Monarch butterflies, probably
three per mile. Some appeared to be flying off the water. We ran
into Billy and he said he's seen them often when offshore in
his boat.
