We planted on a beautiful, sunny day. It was 68 degrees. Our class planted near our school welcome sign. Other tulips were planted up by the school in the garden. We made sure to plant far enough away from the building so that bulb growth would not be affected by building warmth. We added bonemeal to the soil to help the bulbs. We learned that when the bulbs are planted they are dormant. We can't wait until they germinate! We predicted we will begin to see green sprouts in late April or the beginning of May.
