Frost on my windshield this morning, and a chilly day for planting. But the ground was workable and the sun warmed our afternoon class (many refused to wear coats on the playground) later in the day. Soon enough our tulips will be snuggled under a blanket of snow and we will begin the long wait for the spring thaw.
