Signs of Fall

Date: 11/01/2010

Number: 1

Very cold last night -8C. The ponds and ditches had a skiff of ice still on them this afternoon. There are fewer and fewer ducks and loons. Moose are indeed on the move...two cars collided with them over that last couple of weeks in our area.
Chickadees and blue jays are more vocal. Gray jays are again coming to the feeding stations and following me around the property lookng for hand outs.
