I have many Milkweed plants in my gardens. I have seen a Monarch and she has layed eggs this weekened. In my classroom, I have 4 Monarch caterpillars(larva) at different stages of growth. I have had them for 1-2 weeks. I started with 6, but some have died.

The kids are enjoying watching how much they eat and that they grow so fast.

We also have two Swallowtail chrysalis's that should hatching any day. My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and ___ minutes.
