In the past week, I have released 16 butterflies from the 34 chrysalis that I collected from the last group of caterpillars in the gardens. Some fly right off, while others hang out around the lantana and other nectar plants and milkweed for sometime and then fly off. More are eclosing daily and I am releasing them several hours after they eclose. I have observed more eggs on some of the milkweed plants in the past couple days. It is getter much cooler, so hopefully they will develop.
