I caught sight of the a Bald Eagle(which appears to be female) when I stepped out my front door. It was approximately 50 feet away perched in a tree alongside our house. It was a beautiful sight! I ran back inside an got my camera and took pictures. It was very exciting, it was the first time I had ever seen one in the wild.
