Arrived at Cape san Blas this afternoon and the goldenrods between all the way to the beach are covered in Monarchs
My husband and I could not even count how many we saw feeding on the goldenrods. at least over 200 in a 1/4 acre area We took some photos and noticed at least one mimic (Gulf Fritillary) mixed in with the Monarchs. My observation time: I was watching for 30 minutes.
