After seeing no monarchs for several weeks they suddenly appeared at the Hassayampa Preserve! Saw 8 yesterday and tagged 6 (1 female, 5 males) and today saw 5 and tagged 4 (all males). They all looked very fresh and new. Most were nectaring on Seep Willow while a few rested in nearby willow trees before moving on along the river. My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and ___ minutes.
