I found a single female on the grass in my yard. She was cold, so I took her inside and warmed her. She revived, and I kept her in my butterfly container until two days later, when it was near 70 degrees. I let her go, and she made several circles in my yard before flying off to a neighbor's tree. This is the latest sighting I have had. She was very vigorous, and I have hopes that she will make it to Mexico. My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and ___ minutes.
