Today the 1st grade classes,80 children, planted 48 bulbs in the plot off the 1st grade wing. We planted between 2:30-3:00pm. It was 66 degrees, quite warm for Nov. and sunny. We worked in pairs and after the bulbs were planted, we covered with oyster shells to deter the squirrels. Mrs. Schallert, Ms. Boser and Mrs. Babcock helped along with another parent and teachers. Teachers were Ms. Kale, Mrs. Kraemer, Ms. Riley and Mrs. Mizushima. Tomorrow the children will write about their observations in the journal.
