Our third graders planted 50 tulip bulbs in our Medieval Herb Garden! The other third grade class planted 50 bulbs in the butterfly garden. We will be able to monitor the difference in soil temperature in both of those beds. The herb garden in a raised bed. The butterfly garden planting is directly into the ground. It was a clear fall day. The sky was bright blue overhead. Our air temperature that morning was about 50 degrees.
