As reported earlier, while I was in Atlantic Beach, FL, visiting a friend, I saw a male monarch day-after-day in the backyard, patrolling the tropical milkweed. This was the final day before my return to Virginia that I was able to get a nice photo of him on these exotic-looking bright orange flowers, YAY! I know this monarch will make his way much further south to spend the winter, but meanwhile it was such a treat to see him at my friend's house, fueling up all week! My observation time: I was watching for __0_ hours and __5_ minutes.
