In the central downtown area of Pueblo, Colorado is the Historic Arkansas River Park. The 4th and 5th graders of Corwin International Magnet School planted 2000 yellow and purple tulip bulbs around Lake Elizabeth, a feeder pond into the river park. These are spaced 6 to a square foot and were planted in the beds surrounding the lamp posts around the southern and western edge of the lake.
