I am working on the oil spill response on Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge near Gulf Shores, AL and have been observing monarchs along the beach shoreline and in the dunes from 11/1 to 11/11. I have seen no roosting, but my observations have been almost exclusively on the beach. My observation time: I was watching for _8__ hours/day from 11/1 to 11/11/2010.
