Over three days, 13 kindergarten and first grade classes at Clark Elementary and Johnson Elementary planted almost 100 Red Emperor Tulip bulbs! Our morning planters were quite chilly as the frost remained on the ground, but by the afternoon only light jackets were needed.
At Johnson Elementary, we planted our bulbs in a raised garden bed. The Clark students had to dig through some rocks and clay to create holes 7 inches deep!
